The Citizens for Fire Prevention Committee, together with The Philadelphia Fire Department, Cordially invites you to attend The 46th Annual Fire Prevention Dinner Dance On Friday, October 6, 2017.
The event is highlighted by the presentation of the prestigious T. Seddon Duke Fire Prevention Awards and the Inaugural Joseph Flores Award. Mayor James Kenney has been invited to join recently appointed Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel in presenting the Duke award to Terry Egger and in presenting the inaugural Joe Flores Award to select Area Hospitals and Their CEOs.
The Dinner Dance is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Citizens for Fire Prevention Committee, raising funds that provide smoke alarms in high risk communities and fire and life safety education.
Your contribution will go towards fire prevention education, the purchase and installation of ten-year lithium powered smoke alarms, making firefighting safer, and less than 5% towards administration and fundraising. Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD) salaries are paid by the City and the PFD does the smoke alarm installations and education.
If you or your company would like to give a sponsorship level contribution, please download the event information packet to learn more about the various levels you can give at.
